Holiday Apartment in Wendhof with Private Parking and Unobstructed View

This gem was discovered on a cycle tour in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Germany. The very individual country house at the southern end of the little village Wendhof is absolutely quietly situated with an unobstructed view of the natural landscape of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. The lower part of the house has been set up as a holiday apartment, for nature lovers, cyclists, families with children and couples in love…

The apartment provides 100m² of space for up to four people. There is a little storage room next to the kitchen with sports equipment such as a beach ball, badminton, a boules set and various board games for the evening or for rainy days. It also has a washing machine and a little freezer. The kitchen itself has a three-metre-long kitchen unit with a coffee machine, appliances and ample tableware, a dishwasher, a stove, oven, microwave and a stereo system with speakers. The extendable oval table is large enough even for 6 people. A dining room adjoins the kitchen. The elegant oak table is ideal for dining or games. Up to 10 people can sit here when it is extended. There is also an old harmonium for making music. The morning sun shines in through the east-facing window. The room opens towards the west by means of a wide passageway to the living room with a sofa and two armchairs. The evening sun streams in here. For cool evenings there is a fireplace stove and firewood, A stereo system, a DVD player, various films, music CDs and books, as well a digital satellite TV provide entertainment. The two bedrooms branch off this ensemble: one with a French double bed (180 x 200cm), a cupboard and bedside tables and an office room with a pull-out sofa bed (150 x 200cm), a cupboard, a desk with a TV screen for a laptop or tablet computer. Wireless Internet access is available.

A small disadvantage is that to get to the bathroom from the bedrooms, you have to go through the apartment and kitchen to the entrance hallway, but then at least you can shower or bathe in the morning sun, as the sun shines in there until 11 o’clock to ensure a good mood. It is fitted with a WC, washbasin, bath and shower cubicle.

The kitchen opens onto the morning terrace. A shaded pergola, two goldfish ponds and a rose bed create the setting for a sunny breakfast. A parasol, table and four chairs are provided. Behind the house on the lawn there is also a grill area with a little pool and a fountain. The basin is cleaned in May and is 90 cm deep. You can hop in or just dangle your feet in. There is also a garden shower here. In the shed you can find a table tennis table available for use. Bats and balls are provided.

The house is on the cycle path from Malchow to Waren. It is 3km to the beach at Untergöhren and about 5km to the nudist beach at Kölpinsee or to the Müritz beach. If you fancy a change, it is 2km to the Land Fleesensee tourist centre in around Goehren-Lebbin, with golf, tennis, a swimming pool and sauna, riding farm, bowling, shopping, restaurants, a pizzeria and a night bar in Blücher-Schloss (Radisson SAS Hotel).

    “Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung der Wohnung lässt nichts vermissen, sie ist liebevoll und sehr persönlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, obwohl der Geschirrspüler überlistet werden muss. Bettwäsche, Handtücher und auch alle gebräuchlichen Putzmittel sind ausreichend vorhanden. Für die Freizeit stehen Spiele zur Verfügung. Auf Musik und TV brauch auch nicht verzichtet werden. Schön wären Fliegennetze vor den Fenstern, da es auf dem Lande nun einmal viele Fliegen gibt!”
