The FORT is a fortified building of 1360 that was intended to serve as a refuge in case of threat… it has been completely and carefully rehabilitated since 2003 by keeping its beautiful stone walls 110 to 120 cm thick.
The Fort part is inhabited by the owners, and the adjoining Grange part is the cottage that can accommodate 6 to 8 people. The cottage is therefore adjoining the owners' house, the pool is reserved for you.
We are located in VEILHES, a small village (170 inhabitants) of Occitanie perched on the hills of the Vaurais country south of the Tarn … an enchanting place, breathing tranquility in the countryside in peace and nature with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees, Lavaur (11,000 inhabitants) is only 11 km away and the cities of Toulouse and Castres 35 km away.
The complete renovation of this large house has been done with taste, original decoration, beautiful materials and special attention to the comfort of the guests.
You can come and spend a weekend, a week or even two... the cottage is in the middle of 2 hectares of fields and greenery.
