House in Rudina with Open Fireplace
This romantic holiday house made of natural stone is nestled in the lush hilly landscape around Rudina, along the northern Adriatic coast of the sunny Croatian island of Hvar. The number of permanent residents in the village is only 19 at the moment, with some tourists in summer. The fully air-conditioned (cool and warm), ground-level holiday house provides a spacious living room with an open kitchen on a higher level with a dining space, a very modern bathroom and a sleeping area on the mezzanine level with a private ensuite guest WC. The lower area of the living room has a generous corner sofa suite, a flatscreen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and a stereo system. On cooler evenings the open fireplace exudes snug warmth and a cosy atmosphere. Down here there is also a bathroom with a shower cubicle, a washbasin with a cupboard underneath and a wall mirror, a hairdryer, a toilet and even a washing machine. A couple of steps lead up to the built-in kitchen made of solid wood, matching the wooden ceiling beams throughout. Here you can find the latest appliances: dishwasher, ceramic hob with a cooker hood, an electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a dining table with four chairs for leisurely holiday breakfasts. Wide wooden stairs lead to the mezzanine level with a double bed (160 x 200cm). There is a convenient ensuite guest toilet next to it. The sofa down in the living room can be converted into an additional single bed. Plenty of bed linen and towels are provided and the reliable wireless Internet connection can be used free of charge.
In front of the living room your private sunny terrace awaits you with a table and chairs, as well as pleasant shady spots under Mediterranean bushes. You can spend leisurely evenings outdoors around the traditional stone grill. You will need a car during your stay and there are parking spaces right in front of the holiday house.
Your holiday house is about 500 metres from the blue Adriatic and 650 metres from the nearest beach in Lisna bay. The little town of Stari Grad about 2km away dating back to 384 BC has been listed as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Here you can find many historical sights, as well as a romantic harbour and the nearest shops, colourful markets, cafés and restaurants.
