It is not far from the fishing town Hvide Sande or from the tourist town of Søndervig. Ringkøbing Fjord is one of Scandinavia's best windsurfing areas and is also very good for sailing, fishing, kite surfing and other forms of water sports. The beaches, although not as wide as on the western coast, is very well suited for families with children as the water is shallow and has mild currents along the coast. Givskund Zoo and Legoland are located about an hour away from this home. You can closely observe the large animals in Givskud Zoo.
